ARTIO Magazine page 29 featuring Margaret B. Wallace Araujo and Homo Plumbi — Fragmentation I

I am delighted to share that my work has been featured in ARTIO Magazine, Issue 15.

On page 29, ARTIO presents Homo Plumbi — Fragmentation I, acrylic on canvas, 114 × 87 cm, alongside a reflection on the symbolic language of the Homo Plumbi series.

The work explores fragmentation not as collapse, but as a necessary stage before reconstruction and unity. The human profile is divided into geometric blocks, while liquid forms descend from above and smaller shapes seem to separate from the figure: the mind appears as a structure undergoing change.

Grateful to ARTIO Gallery for including my work in a contemporary art and culture publication distributed internationally in New York, Paris, Barcelona and London.
